When I write something, my hope is that it can move someone to either action or instill a deeper understanding of a social issue. I believe this is the case with many authors. The very thing that drives us to pick up a pen is what also moves our readers. Many of us writers read the newspaper or watch the news for ideas, drawing inspiration from the media. (more…)
